My name is Åda Adelaide Josefsdotter, though my given name is Adina Georgiana Catucci. I was born in Bitonto, a small town in southern Italy, and I’ve loved art in all its forms for as long as I can remember.
In 2015, I began studying Film at DAMS (Drama, Art and Music Studies), where I earned my Bachelor’s degree. After that, I felt the pull toward photography — something that had always fascinated me both technically and creatively.
In 2018, I started my studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, where I developed a deep passion for black-and-white photography and experimental off-camera techniques.
In 2020, I took part in the Open Tour with my project “Handling”, and later that year I exhibited “Life” at Associazione Alauda in Bari.
I completed my Master’s in Photography in 2021, with a thesis focused on experimental image-making and alternative photographic processes.
In 2022, I participated in a group exhibition at the Academy, as part of a workshop led by Mario Cresci and Paola Binante.
I’m especially drawn to event photography, landscapes, portraits, and black-and-white work.
Right now, I’m based in Stockholm and open to exciting new projects and collaborations!
